Marko Mäetamm, (Viljandi, 1965) é licenciado em Gravura (1993) e mestre em Belas-Artes (1995), ambos pela Academia de Artes da Estónia. Marko Mäetamm representou a Estónia na Bienal de Veneza em 2003 e 2007.
Recebeu vários prémios entre eles: Kristjan Raud Annual Award, Estonia (2000), Baltic Assembly Prize for the Arts (2009), e o Annual Award of the Cultural Endowment of Estonia (2011). Em 2008 foi condecorado com Ordem da Estrela Branca do Estado da Estónia.
